    It’s been around for yrs. I’ve had it done many times and your hair shouldn’t look or feel fried if the stylist is experienced. It normally takes 4-6hrs because the chemicals has to penetrate your hair before they can straighten it or esle it won’t keep the shape.

    that’s horrible! sorry for your friend. i suggest to go to a well known and trusted salon to get it done.

    wow, i want to get mine straightned like that but im so scared! i know someone who’s hair feel out in chunks after she did that. she ended up having to shave her head and get a wig cause she had so many bald spots!

    is it almost like relaxing? Please tell me cause i hate my wavy and fizzy hair. Cause if it is then i think im going to get mine done..

    Mine took 3 hours. :/
    It’s pretty popular in Asia.
    It will start going back to it’s original state after 3 months.
    You still can curl it though.

    It won’t turn frizzy if the products used are good. They did mine one side with Wella one side with L’Oreal? I forgot. I was hair model so it was free.

    The setback is you can’t wash it for 3 days straight, if you want your hair really straight.

    omg.. i was wondering wat it was called..!
    one summer i went to cambodia and did mines.
    it only cost me $40!! it lasted FOREVER
    until mi hair grew!! =[
    it took me 10 hrs tho…

    btw, mine took the whole day! it was my present for myself then because the next day was my bday… i was there before noon (as i always do) and i got out like 6pm already or something… enjoy your new hair! you really will!!

    i had that done before when it was really raw (i mean no color, i dont use irons etc)..it really is super soft and i never get tangles!!! i dont even comb it! now i want to do it again! :)
